A team of senior Chinese and Sri Lankan nationals with years of experience in the corporate sector, bridging the language barrier ” to speed up investments, enhance cultural exchange between Sri Lanka and Peoples Republic of China.
THE CORE OBJECTIVES OF THE COUNCIL
- Promote, encourage and facilitate investment and project development within the membership through closer interaction and knowledge sharing.
- Promote, encourage and facilitate investments, project development and greater affiliation on cultural ties between China and Sri Lanka.
- The Council spearheads engaging local business enterprises, Government institutions of Sri Lanka with potential Chinese organizations to invest in Sri Lanka ensuring professional services in a efficient manner.
- Monitor, trade and investment related portals, events, exhibitions in Sri Lanka and in China on yearly basis, disseminate information, organize delegations, organize appropriate study tours in selected fields for the benefit of all stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate , co-operate with High Commission of Sri Lanka based in Beijing and with respective Government authorities , Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China in Sri Lanka and with trade councils spread across China to work hand in hand in line with identified trade and investment strategies by both nations.
